History repeats itself. The playbook is there all you have to do is follow the program and America will fall. Everyday I hear things in the news that send chills down my spine. President Bush talking about the telcom protection from prosecution due to their involvement in the warrantless wiretapping. I hear a sound bite of him stating that these companies were told that their involvement was needed and that it was legal. Here we have the executive branch telling an industry you need to cooperate and we’re (the administration) telling you it’s legal. When laws change, when something becomes legal or illegal it’s a legislative system that does that. It appears now that we have an executive branch with the power to arbitrarily define what is legal or illegal.

This scares the fucking shit out of me.

Naomi Wolf outlines the 10 steps as follows. My notes are italicized.

2. Create a gulag (Guantanamo Bay)
