I’ve got a couple of old Dell laptops that don’t really have the balls to much of anything other than surf the web, and slow at that. This would be a good sack of parts to convert into a photo frame. My thinking is that I can make it a Wifi enabled digital photo frame that I will be able to give to my parents and update with new photos remotely via their wireless network, that I need to setup.

This is going to be based on this Dell 266 running Win98 machine with a Belkin PCMCIA WiFi card. I’ve got no idea what I’m going to be using to run the photo slide show but isn’t that the fun of it?
